I'm thrilled to share the news that my husband and I are expecting our first child, a baby boy, at the end of September— just two weeks from now! We are deep in the process of preparing our little Brooklyn “nest” for his arrival. I’ll be back in the office once I settle into my new routine, and in the meantime, I’m happy to refer you to my talented colleagues at Nest Wellness.
Celebrating Two Years of Nest Wellness!
It’s hard to believe that two years ago -- on the day of the Pride Parade, a super hot and sweaty celebratory Sunday -- Aimee Derbes (my incredible business partner) and I opened the doors to Nest Wellness. Fast forward two years to today! So many of you have walked through our doors for treatment, sat on our plush pink couch with tea (pre-COVID), and steadfastly supported us during the COVID crisis. If it wasn’t for YOU, there is no way that our business would still be standing after the past year that we have all struggled through. YOU are a huge reason that Aimee and I fought so darn hard to keep Nest open.
Who Doesn't Love Free Stuff? Acupuncture + Perks Referral Program
Our new "spread the healing" Refer a Friend Program offers perks for both you and your friend! It’s simple: You'll receive $25 added to your account every time you refer a friend to Prinz Acupuncture and your friend will receive $25 off their first new patient session. I consider referrals as pure GOLD— entrusting me with the care of your loved ones is the highest compliment, and I always do my best to give them the best care possible. I hope this program helps you and your friend get the care you both want and need.
Your Virtual Sanctuary: A Gift From Our New Wellness Partner
Creating the space for your body, mind and spirit during this challenging time is key for survival-- and that's why we're partnering up with the incredible Medicine for the Soul Yoga to bring you FREE YOGA & MOVEMENT CLASSES! Knowing how much I value movement, sweat and meditation for self care and health, they've kindly offered all friends of Prinz Acupuncture a special offer of 15 Days Free.

Prinz Acupuncture is pledging to donate $5 from each acupuncture session in October to Heart of Dinner.

Meet The Nest Wellness Community
I'd like to introduce you to the exceptionally skilled health & wellness practitioners that I work alongside with at Nest Wellness, the healing space (and home of Prinz Acupuncture) that Align Acupuncture and I opened with love in June 2019. One of our main goals in creating Nest was to establish and nurture a community of practitioners of different disciplines whom we can confidently refer our own patients to for complimentary care. And I’m pleased to report that we did just that! Read on to meet the practitioners of Nest Wellness— now you can come to one safe location for all of your self-care needs!
Late Summer: Nourishment & Balance
Have you felt the fresh chill in the air? Or noticed the shorter days? We are now in the throes of Late Summer, aka the fifth season of the year, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Late Summer bridges the gap between the hot, hazy days of Summer and the crisp days of Fall, spanning mid-August to the Fall Equinox. This period corresponds to the Earth Element and relates to balance, centering, and boundaries.
TCM Tips: Your Summer Wellness Guide
June 20th marked the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. In Chinese Medicine, a new ‘external season’ signals a new ‘internal season.’ The change of seasons into Summer generates cyclical health conditions, emotional conditions, and opportunities for growth in body, mind and Spirit.

We Are Reopening on June 1st!
With a full heart, I am excited to announce the safe reopening of Prinz Acupuncture on June 1st.
Acupuncture was designated as an essential medical service in New York State on May 16th. This timely decision is for good reason: the best way to prevent illness is to be the strongest, healthiest, pain- and stress-free version of yourself. I want Prinz Acupuncture to be the most valuable and safest part of your day outside of your own home. I am committed to providing a secure, healing and restorative environment where you can find relief for your medical concerns.
